Breuer, Marcel recipient
Discusses the difference of opinion between McClave and Breuer over the level of Breuer's royalties. McClave feels 10% is too high especially when the average profit in the furniture manufacturing industry is only half of one per cent. Even the likes of Donald Deskey and Gilbert Rhode only receive 4% in royalties. McClave suggests 5%. He asks whether Breuer would be prepared to loan some of his furniture to the Golden Gate Exposition. Mentions [Alvar] Aalto.
