Pritchard was not suprised at Gropius' announcement that he was to leave England for the United States. He asks Gropius for his opinion on whom Pritchard should employ as Gropius' successor as controller of design, although in the early days he would like Gropius to have some say in design matters. Pritchard lists 10 items which he would like finished before Gropius leaves.
