Scope and content

Reprint of an article which appeared in The Architectural Review, [May 1935 issue]. Poses the alternatives of preserving or destroying the countryside through development. Stressed is the high density of people which can be accommodated in the Windsor Flats on a small piece of land as opposed to sprawling building plots for family houses. Plans and artists' impressions of St Leonard's Hill Estate and the proposed development are included.
