Correspondence relates to enquiries and securing of land leases adjacent to Lawn Road. In 1929 John Russell (nurserymen) approach Pritchard through the agents Protheroe & Morris, and enquire about leasing land. In 1934 Isokon seek to lease land from John Russell and Gill & Reigate Ltd. Russell's land is adjacent to the Belsize Park tube station and is leased from London, Midland and Scottish Railway. Rees-Reynolds & Hunt (surveyors) approach John Russell Ltd and Gill & Reigate Ltd for the land to be sub-let to Isokon. The land is laid out for tennis courts and details regarding the maintenance, lease & responsibility of the tennis courts are included. Correspondence by Crindland & Nell (John Russell's solicitors) is included in 1935, and leases are exchanged as a further piece of sloping land is leased by Isokon. A further interest is shown in Gill & Reigate's land. From 1936-1943 correspondence refers to Isokon paying rent to John Russell for leased land. Correspondence with Rowe & Maw is also included.
