Scope and content

General correspondence relating to banking matters, e.g. the ordering of cheque books, change in signing authorities, extracts of minutes empowering the Bank to issue cheques & bills of exchange. Correspondence with Rowe & Maw is included and the temporary secretary Harold Albert Shaw is made known to Midlands Bank. In October 1933 Isokon Ltd opened an account with National Provincial Bank and the Midlands Bank account was closed. In April the following year it was transferred to Manchester & County Bank Ltd and a loan there totalled £10,000. In February 1935 a banking account was opened for Isokon (Lawn Road) Ltd at County Bank. This was transferred in September to District Bank Ltd. Not catalogued through to item level.
