Pritchard responds [to the points raised by Coates as outlined in Maw's letter of 30/11/31]. Pritchard indicates that the number of designs Coates makes will have to be limited. He refuses to pay Coates a sum at the signing of the Agreement. [Royalty fees] are mentioned and how the change in sterling value should be accounted for. The copyright of design plans must be kept by [Isokon Ltd] if Coates is to be employed in the modification of the plans. If Coates does not agree to the points it will be "the end of him" as far as Pritchard is concerned.
