Sarabhai apologises for the delay in replying to Pritchard's letters and encloses some Indian stamps [not included]. Sarabhai says Pritchard's shirts are in the post. He refers to 10 days of rioting in Ahmedabad and military control of the city. Between 1000 and 3000 people were killed and loss of property could reach 300 million rupees.
