Pritchard, Miriam. recipient
Ethel Spiller [Jack Pritchard's aunt] encloses Barton's buttons from Andrew Pritchard's coat [not included]. The buttons' design represents "The scientific splitting up of rays of light into colours of the spectrum". Ethel Spiller believes Miriam Pritchard should have the items as a reminder of Andrew Pritchard, "a prominent member of the Royal Institution in Faraday's time".
