Scope and content
With envelope addressed to Patricia Wood at Pond Lye, Furzefield Road, Beaconsfield. On verso is stamped 3/4/1949. Letter addressed to ‘My dear Pussy’. Wolfgang is spending most of his time in Stuttgart. He sees a lot of Baumeister and the Hildebrands. ‘Occ’ [Office of Chief of Counsel] might go on until December and in that case he will stay there. "I am most terribly fed up." He agrees with Patricia about Lawrence [the author D.H. Lawrence] who he thinks is dated and a fascist. He hopes to be able to paint again soon.
