Scope and content
With envelope addressed to Patricia Wood c/o Maj. Gen. Shephard, British Army of the Rhine, B.A.O.R., Bad Oeynhausen, Westphalen. Stamped ‘Not known at camp HQ British Army of the Rhine’.

Addressed to ‘Dearest Pussy’. Wolfgang still had a letter he wrote to Patricia when in Gastein, “when I came back it seemed to [i.e. too] late to send it because I thought you were married. I still have the letter.”

He had stopped off in Salzburg on his way to and from Gastein. He stayed in the same room he had “when you came in late that night, on our way to Venice.”

His parents were in Switzerland and were having a difficult time in Israel.

He asks Patricia to come and visit.
