Applebaum, Irwyn recipient
Anderson tells Applebaum that he and LC have a lot to talk over in response to his proposal. 'And of course Putnam have the right to match your best offer.'
Anderson explains that much of what Applebaum proposes Bantam will achieve, has already been successfully done by Transworld in a UK context. Putnam had also put in place other marketing initiatives.
He adds that whoever goes on to publish Persuader in the US in 2003, will be building on the success of Without Fail and won't be starting from scratch, as is arguably the case at the beginning of 2002.
