Notebook (handmade? cover in leopard print faux fur). Title page 'Poetry and Images: 1998/ joelle[SIC] Taylor'
Extent: 167 pages plus title/end page.
A number of post it notes were stuck into the notebook:
5 yellow post it notes (JT/1/1/a-f) inside cover with draft poetry in manuscript (these have now been placed inside a sleeve within a grey folder).
1 page torn out.
1 yellow post it note inside back cover with draft poetry in manuscript.
3 pink arrow shaped post-it notes with manuscript notes: 'Lucid Johnstone 1997' [note detached from original page it marked]; '(W)horror stories 1st NB' (note detached from original page it marked]; [note blank at page entitled 'George/ Everytime I make potato curry...']
Pages within notebook contain some numbered lines of poetry/descriptions of characters. Blank pages at the end.

Extent: 64 leaves plus title/end page.

Black A5 notebook. Title in MS: 'High Heels on Hind Legs: Part III. Joelle Taylor 1998/1999. Whorror Stories: Performance Novel & Angels With Dirty Fingernails.'
Extent: 48 leaves
There are several looseleaf inserts within the notebook:
a) Outcasts: Safety Guidelines (three double sided A4 typed and photocopied leaflet) providing guidance on potentially dangerous 'not necessarily most common' sado masochistic play.
b) East-side Educational Trust: Young Writers' Mentoring Programme three way folded A4 leaflet entitled 'Write Up: your street'.
c) Photocopied excerpt of an article by Colin Mackerras on Chinese Theatre. JT has written notes on the reverse.
