Letter from Gerard Hollebone, 26.9.41, referring chiefly to Hollebone’s forthcoming marriage. Also contains references to John Field , who had been injured in action off Crete (“what a show – what a fellow”, Hollebone writes), and to lunch with another mutual friend, Peter Dyson.

In a letter of 21.8.43 Theo Hollebone gives news of family and mutual friends.

The Hollebones were neighbours and old friends of JH.
