Anderson, Mary
Contains two letters from Mary Anderson, daughter of Sir John Anderson, to JH, both of which give news of family and mutual friends. In the first, dated 28.10.40, she passes on a suggestion from her brother Alastair that JH should try to get seconded to an Army Co-operation unit. In the second letter, of 21.12. [1941?], she reports on her own enlistment in the Army [in which she subsequently made a career].
