The contents relate to JH's visit with a UK parliamentary delegation to Kenya in 11/67, following the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association in Kampala. They include correpondence, itineraries, press cutings, background documents, printed material, JH's MS notes recording the visit, and a bundle of export permits and related documents for various items purchased during the visit.

A significant part of the contents relate to the treatment by the Kenyan government of British farmers resident in Kenya, and the deportation of some Kenyan residents of European or Asian descent. JH had been asked by Patrick Wall MP to take up these issues, if possible, during his visit.
