Scope and content

Contains correspondence, mainly with solicitors, regarding the income and tax of JH's mother-in-law's trust settlement. Original trustees were Mr Allen and Roger Luard. They were replaced by the solicitors McCreath and H.T. Waddell, and there also followed a request by C.S. Maxwell that her son Eric would also be appointed a trustee.

A statement of the gross income in 1952 is included. Final distribution of the funds took place on 11/7/78.
