Scope and content

Contains an inventory of the "goods cattle & chattles of Mr Nathaniel Briggs late of Walpole taken this 4th day of October 1776". Also included is a modern typescript of this inventory, and Briggs' executor's record of accounts, these included payments made on Briggs' behalf before and after his death. Some of the pages have been removed. These records were discovered in the rebuiding of Ivy Farm farmhouse in the 1970s.
