Contains correspondence which mainly relates to planning permission for cottages, farm buildings, a grain dryer extension at Sotherton Hall, a bus shelter, residential development in Blyford, road improvements, a pump station, Holton holiday village, etc. Appeals against refusals are also included. Correspondence also covers the maintenance of roadside hedges and trees, the use of a gravel pit for refuse removal, the use of a pit in King's Lane for the deposit of sweepings and the laying of water services. The 1934 document is an undertaking given to Colonel John Day for the planting of hedges along a roadside.
