Salinger comments on Don’s suggestion that he [and Dilys] come to the US for a visit in 1994. He comments on Don’s house move.
Salinger and Colleen had settled well into their newly rebuilt house after the fire a year previous, insurance cover had paid out on his damaged books.
He writes about his cats, tennis, their lunches out a few times a week, visitors to their home and his fiction writing. He would soon be flying to Washington for a visit and is very pleased that Don and Dilys may be visiting.
Enclosed are photographs of two Russian Blue cats at Salinger’s writing desk.
Includes envelope.
