Frassanito updates Lessing on the progress of a planned mission to the Moon and Mars, and encloses drawings of vehicle concepts that he thinks she will enjoy.

003 is a photocopy of an article, "Next Steps in Space", an interview with John Aaron by Timothy Willard and Andrew Lawler from The Futurist, May-June 1988.

004 is a photocopy of a paper, "SETI and Serendipity" by Jill C. Tarter, from Acta Astronautica Vol. 11, No. 7-7, 1984.

005 is a letter from Frassanito to Lessing enclosing recent graphic work regarding the NASA Interstellar Missions to Alpha Centauri. He also invites Lessing to contribute to a forthcoming exhibition, 2001 Architecture and Design for Space: Vision and Reality, enclosing a description of the show for Lessing's review.
