003 is a puff-piece by Doris Lessing for Jenny Diski's novel Nothing Natural, "which bravely explores that complex of physical and emotional dependencies to which we give the name sado-masochism".

004 is a clipping from an article [in an unknown newspaper] hinting that Nothing Natural is "obscene" and implying that Lessing provided a puff-piece because she is Diski's stepmother. It is attached to a handwritten note from Lessing: "This prompted the V.s [various?] bitchy telephone calls suggesting Jenny's book would not have been published had I not recommended it"
