Contains: a 1951/52 report of the British Library of Political and Economic Science where Willi was Acquisitions Officer.

Proofs and drafts for articles and chapters on the British political elites, and German social politics and history.

A collection of journal articles and reprints by Guttsman; the annual report of the [UEA] Librarian, 1984-84; and a copy of his 1950 MSc thesis: 'A study of the social origin and character of British political leaders, 1886-1936'.

Bibliographies; CVs; a 1991 application letter by Guttsman for the degree of Doctor of Letters; and obituary drafts.

A 1974 document by Guttsman on the optimum size of UEA and a 1975 letter concerning university planning; a recollection on Denys Lasdun’s buildings at the UEA, including the Library; ARLIS (Art Libraries Society) newsletter on subject specialisation in Libraries; statistics on the annual output of books; and correspondence concerning a survey on labour history material and the collection of printed ephemera in the social sciences.

Correspondence relating to Guttsman's planning of study visits to Heidelberg in 1972 and East Berlin in 1984.

General correspondence which includes a letter from Vice-Chancellor Frank Thistlethwaite regarding his receiving an honorary degree; and a 1973 letter by Willi to the press concerning the prosecution of Bristows bookshop.

Partially complete key created by Guttsman of the Lord Mayor's (Charles B. Jewson) reception in Norwich Castle which took place on 22/04/1966. A painting, by Michael Andrews, of the event is in the Castle Museum, Norwich. Key donated by Christopher Lloyd, 2024.
