Scope and content
Deposit of 18/3/10. Contains one large file of papers and three 3.5” floppy disks. The disks have been copied to CD.
The CD contains:
- A special issue of Cincinnati Romance Review Vol. 25.2, May 2006 containing the original and published translation of Un Enfant Disparait.
- Translated chapters (some draft, some final) of:

Correspondence relating to the translation of Les Traites Négrières, by Olivier PétréGrenouilleau. This book on the slave trade was never translated due to quarrels between the author and publisher. Included here is a memorandum of agreement, 2002 for the translation of La Traite des Noirs. See also the CD for chapter translations of La Traite des Noirs.

Correspondence concerning the translation of Bouda Etemad’s book. Etemad wanted the book translated faster than Fletcher could do it and so it never really got off the ground. The book was ultimately translated by Andrene Everson under the title Possessing the World:Taking the Measurements of Colonialisation from the 18th to the 20th Century.
Manuscripts and correspondence for the translation of Les Lacustres / Lake-Dwellers by Marc-Antoine Kaeser. See also CD for chapter translations. An English translation of this French original edition by Kaeser is available on-line at Academia.edu. [See also box 7].
Deposit of 25/11/11. Contains papers of Fletcher’s translation of Voltaire’s Dictionnaire Philosophique / A Pocket Philosophical Dictionary Oxford University Press, 2011. Included is a copy of the final publication, annotated draft typescript by Nicholas Cronk, photocopies of the published French text, correspondence and notes, and a CD containing correspondence and translations.
