File SZ/RS/24 consists of correspondence relating to a Royal Society Discussion Meeting on 30.9.76 organised as part of the celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the Zoological Society of London. Prof. R.J. Harrison presided over the organising committee and the meeting. SZ was one of the organisers and chaired one of the sessions. He also wrote the preface to the published papers. A draft of his preface is in the file.
