File SZ/ITB/8 consists of correspondence between SZ and John Hill on sources of "a really authoritative, scientific view" of the effect of the use of Halon fire-suppressant systems in the light of the 1987 Montreal Protocol on chlorofluorocarbons and the Ozone Layer. SZ referred Hill to Sir Fred Warner who in turn referred him to Professor Brian Thrush.
