Contains 29 items being correspondence, minutes, and press-cuttings concerning the history and origins of the TSR-2 aircraft project, its progress, costs, the views of Lord Mountbatten on the project, and its eventual cancellation. Some of the correspondence refers to SZ’s enquiries regarding the whereabouts of papers of earlier discussions on low level and supersonic bombers in 1954-1955. One of the press-cuttings, an article by Chapman Pincher, describes the scrapping of the TSR-2 as "a momentous victory for the Navy over the RAF", portraying Mountbatten as "the key architect of the Navy’s victory" and dubbing SZ’s and Mountbatten’s alliance over the project the "Zuckbatten axis".

Correspondents include Sir Thomas Pike, Sir Ronald Brockman, Lord Mountbatten, Harold Watkinson, Peter Thorneycroft, and Denis Healey. See also File SZ/CSA/96.
