Scope and content
Contains correspondence concerning the appointments to the Committee. The Committee was expected to meet three or four times a year. The topic of the supply of scientists came up frequently. The Committee worked on the Ministry of Labour's survey and census returns to estimate the supply and demand of scientists. SZ chaired this Committee until 1964 when he handed over to Sir Willis Jackson.
