Scope and content
Contains a press-cutting on the rights of way documents or easements which Mellis residents need to pay to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. The Trust was gifted part of the common by Lord Henniker who handed the organisation his lord of the manor title, the 1989 deed of gift is included. Also included are notes on payments made by Mellis residents to Suffolk Wildlife Trust for right of way across Mellis Common to their homes; and a handwritten article written by RD on the “mismanagement” of Mellis Common by Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
