Kohnstamm (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Leiden) responds to PC’s comments on her Bruna booklet. 1 leaf. TS.
PC/21/7/2 Diary extracts of psychologist and mother Hanneke de Ridder-Sluiter. They describe her son’s linguistic development, through the reading of Bruna’s books. A draft typescript follows (a 19-page critique on Bruna’s works). Hanneke de Ridder-Sluiter had previously authored ‘The Extra in the Ordinary’ (1978) [the 1976 publication by Dolk Kohnstamm can be found at PC/21/5]. This latest typescript by Hanneke de Ridder-Sluiter, some fifteen years later, was commissioned by Pieter Brattinga (graphic designer and founder of Mercis Publishing) ‘because there are still a great many people who do not understand Buna’s work’.
