Wooden plaque with the Olympic Mishka or Misha – the name of the Russian Bear mascot of the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games. [The mascot was designed by Victor Chizhikov, children’s illustrator]. Russian text on verso. Size A4. [It is unclear which award this may relate to. In 1980 PC won the Hans Christian Andersen Award for best translation of children’s literature]. The design on verso includes a deer standing underneath a tree.
